Lalla Asmae School

This is one of the oldest schools of the city. It was the original home for school of notables, then it was converted to a girls only school, then to a mixed public school.<br><br>The school was originally the house of Moses Ben Attar, a Jewish diplomat during Moulay Ismail's reign. After negociating a peace treaty with Britain he was later appointed as Naqib of Jews in Morocco.<br>
